Zonal design

Introduction

For a simple and efficient parking management, clear designs of zones are needed. Zones are used for the further design of tariffs, parking subscribtions and parkers. These topics are explained in chapter 3.1 "Master data management".

Example:

The zone design can look as follows:

A customer can either define a normal parking zone (here highlighted in grey "Car Park Employees") which is defined without subzones as it is not a grouping element. This parking zone only allows employees.

In this example, in addition to the parking zone, there is a grouping element "car park visitor" that combines four sub-zones that are arranged one above the other (here floor 0-3). These parking zones are also accessible for visitors.

Further information on the different parking zones can be defined by the customer in a separate step (see Chapter 3.1.2 "Manage zones").
